16 APPRENTICES COURSE AUTHORIZED BY THE REGION

The designer is definitely the professional figure who mainly stands out from the other members who form the phenomenon “Fashion”. That’s why today it’s very important that the designer is represented in the most complete way.
Fashion, as it is well-known, is a driving sector of the Italian economy and this is the reason for which the designer is asked to represent “made in Italy” in the most impressive way.
There are many different working choices : fashion creator, colour and cloth designer, textile sector operator, model maker, tailoring expert.

Programme synthesis:
	FASHION DESIGN: Ideal proportions of the figure – Study of light and shade technique – Analysis of the following techniques: pastel colours, watercolours, tempera colours, pantone – Primary and complementary colours – Harmony of colours and tones – Contrast of colours
	COSTUME DESIGN: Bent for a personal style creation – How a fashion collection is organized – Study of cloth for a collection – Drawing and painting on cloth – Accessories creation – Theatrical and film costumes – Fashion history – Study of marketable goods
	MODEL-MAKING: Creation of basic paper pattern and different transformations. Modelling on dressmaker’s dummy – Technical developments.
	CRAFT TAILORING: Knowledge and use of work equipment; size measure; paper pattern creation; support on fabric; cloth cut; tailoring and finishing touch of garments: skirt, blouse, dress, jacket, trousers.

Registrations start on March 1st and close when the number of participants is complete
Courses start in October.

To guarantee the productive capacities of the apprentices to businessmen, Altieri Academy offers the free repetition of the course in case of not complete maturity.
